In bunker-trench training facilities the mixture of wood walls and tracers results in fires  that burn the facilities down. BTI offers trench walls to either act as fire-stops in  existing facilities or to provide a safe, inflammable wall system for the trench lines.

 SACON® bullet absorbing concrete provides a wall that can take the light weapon  rounds fired in training, and can handle the shock of near-by (not direct) mortar  strikes.

 As a fire break, BTI’s SACON® trench wall sections really work, as Fort Benning  found out. A weekend fire, that started after the trainees had packed up and gone,  prevented the balance of the trench complex from being destroyed.
