The SACON® Shoothouse provides an excellent training facility for close combat and room entry skill development. The standard CAMTAF Shoothouse design from the Corps of Engineers has eight rooms and two long corridors to provide training variety. Room entries in the facility have wooden doors to allow for realistic breach and entry drills and scenarios. Trainers can watch the activities of their trainees from a series of wooden catwalks set atop the SACON® wall panels. SACON® panels in the shoot house are composed of 90 lbs.cu-ft bullet absorbing concrete. The 11-ft high panels are 43-in wide, 24-in deep and weigh 2.6 tons each. The T- shaped panels align together so the overlap prevents any rounds from passing between the panels. Doorways carry a SACON® lintel above them that fits into the door panels on each side and floors of the Shoothouse are cast SACON®. |

Building on the standard CAMTAF design Ballistics Technology International has developed a versatile Shoothouse system to hone close combat and raid/assault skills. We have designed a movable panel system that allows for design flexibility in a single story live fire facility. Self standing SACON® panels allow for adaptable and easy assembly of most any design layout. The ease of panel replacement makes maintenance simpler allowing for more up-time and ease of use for a wide set of exercises. Movable wall Shoothouses offer unparalleled training flexibility and heightened realism where live ammunition and unknown obstacles enhance situational skills. |

| In addition Ballistics Technology International alternately utilizes the Corps of Engineers standard interlocking 3’x3’ SACON® block system of stacked blocks to create fixed wall mazes and shoothouses. The smaller form factor of the SACON® block makes replacement of wear impact areas straightforward using of a light crane and our cast in lifting system to move individual blocks. Additionally BTI's SACON® pavers are designed to provide protection on floors and other horizontal surfaces from accidental discharges of weapons during live fire training. The paving tiles are simply laid down tightly onto the floor to provide the required protection. They are designed to be used with light weapons, particularly rounds of 5.56 mm or lighter. SACON® of this density absorbs 5.56mm rounds in 3.5-4in without ricochets up to 25 deg. of the floor plane. Ballistics Technology International will work with you to bring the most flexible, easy to maintain and best value close quarters training Shoothouse with safety always in mind.
