Ballistics Technology International Ltd. in early 2002 delivered and erected this three  room facility. Designed for grenades followed by simple room clearing this facility  was part of Fort Bragg's MOUT phase II project. 148 SACON® bullet and energy  absorbing concrete panels create a simple hallway and three room design allowing  for simple squad level training events. Each of the rooms includes a SACON® edge  block to direct the grenades grown to a center impact pit space increasing the  longevity of the grenade house panels.

 This standard three room SACON® grenade house facility provides an excellent  training facility for close combat and urban warfare skills. The typical training routine  involves a squad of three moving through the facility to a doorway where the first  trainee rose a grenade into the room and the two others enter with room clearing fire.  At the next room the second trainee for was a grenade into the room and clearing  commences. The same is repeated as the last trainee throws his grenade in the third  room. The flexibility of the SACON® panels allows for targets such as a simple ‘Ivan’  to be placed inside the grenade impact rooms.
